गुणविगुणविभागो वर्तते नैव किञ्चित्
रतिविरतिविहीनं निर्मलं निष्प्रपञ्चम् ।
गुणविगुणविहीनं व्यापकं विश्वरूपं
कथमहमिह वन्दे व्योमरूपं शिवं वै ।।

गुण और अवगुण का विभाजन ब्रह्म में पूरी तरह से अनुपस्थित है। ब्रह्म शुद्ध, अव्यक्त और राग और वैराग्य से रहित है। मैं कैसे उस सर्वोच्च परमगति (व्योमरूपी शिव) की पूजा कर सकता हूँ जो कि गुण-अवगुण से विहीन है और सर्वव्यापी है?
The division of merit and demerit is completely absent in Brahm. Brahm is pure, unmanifested and devoid of passion and dispassion. How can I worship that infinite supreme beatitude which is neither with attributes nor without attributes and is all pervading and omnipresent?
