The widespread misunderstanding of this symbol has led to crude interpretations and misplaced rituals. Temples and pilgrimages were originally meant to remind individuals of their higher nature and provide refuge from worldly burdens, but they have now become commercialized and lost their essence. Pilgrimage sites, once established in secluded and natural settings to help people detach from social conditioning, have turned into crowded marketplaces. The discussion also addresses the ideological battles surrounding religion, with opposition coming from multiple fronts, including religious extremists, leftists, and caste-based factions. Despite receiving threats, the focus remains on preserving true wisdom. The modern world has distanced itself from the essence of spirituality, reducing sacred symbols to superstitions. There is a pressing need to reclaim spiritual spaces and uphold truth beyond ideological and political influences. š§ Listen to Acharya Prashant on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/2QmVEAAnsNE7Xs0MW0Li8Y?si=09fbcbc7c99c469b
