Coverage of his work in the national and international press: his gatherings, dialogues, recognitions, and milestones.

Renowned philosopher and bestselling author Acharya Prashant returned to India on Sunday after presenting eloquently on Indian philosophy, Vedanta and Upanishads at renowned global forums like Oxford University, Cambridge University and the UK Parliament. A large crowd gathered at Indira Gandhi International Airport to greet him with the tricolor, welcome messages, and congratulatory letters.

Nearly 145 years after Max Muller carried the Isha Upanishad to Oxford as a scholarly object, Acharya Prashant returned it to the same university as a living teaching — arguing, in the very building where economics and policy are taught, that no external solution can resolve humanity's crises without first examining the consuming ego that drives them.

Philosopher Acharya Prashant returned to India on Sunday after a landmark leg of his United Kingdom tour that took him to the platforms of Oxford University, Cambridge and the UK Parliament, where he placed the teachings of Vedanta and Indian Philosophy at the centre of global discourse on some of the defining questions of our times.

In 1879, Professor Max Muller carried the Ishavasya Upanishad to the West, publishing its first English translation through Oxford University Press as the opening volume of the 'Sacred Books of the East'. Nearly a century and a half later, an Indian philosopher has arrived at the same university to return the text to its living meaning.

"During the 2024 Lok Sabha campaign, both Congress and BJP posted a clip of Acharya Prashant's NDTV interview on their official X handles, which went viral. On same lines, Bihar Congress recently shared his video on its official X handle. It featured part of his speech on Mahatma Gandhi. This is one of several instances where his messages have found space in political conversations. While political parties and media outlets sometimes refer to his statements, Acharya Prashant maintains that he carries no partisan leanings."

“Most movements talk of rights and recognition. But Acharya Prashant, rooted in Vedanta, questions the very idea of identity. He doesn’t say women should be equal to men — he says: ‘You are not the body at all.’ And if you are not the body, what is male or female? For many women, this message offers something deeper than social equality — it offers freedom from centuries of roles, expectations, and imposed worth. The real revolution, he insists, is not external but inward: a discovery of who you are, beyond all labels.”

“On June 5, 2025, at the World Environment Expo in Greater Noida, the PrashantAdvait Foundation was recognised as the Best Animal Welfare Organisation. The award acknowledged the Foundation’s work in protecting animals—efforts that include helping over 1 million animals and encouraging more than 50,000 families to move away from animal-based products.”

Meeting of the greatest timeless streams of wisdom, yet fresh and new! In an article by a News24 journalist on Acharya Ji’s body of work: Acharya Prashant is described as embodying the confluence of India’s greatest spiritual legacies—carrying Adi Shankaracharya’s rigor of non-dual inquiry, Swami Vivekananda’s fire for national and inner awakening, J. Krishnamurti’s call for radical self-examination, and Buddha’s fearless gaze into suffering. Yet, his voice remains unmistakably his own—uncompromising, contemporary, and rooted in unapologetic truth.
