Vivekachudamani - Part 3

Our life is nothing but a series of decisions. We decide and pave our way forward every moment. Our decisions depend upon our value-system. This value-system is usually a built-up of our past, familial upbringing, friends or, it can also come from the timeless wisdom of the Vedic Rishis.

Chudamani means 'Crest Jewel', and Viveka means 'Discretion'.

Vivekachudamani (Crest Jewel of Discretion) implies that this scripture is the most important book to develop discretion or decision-making ability.

Vivekachudamani is widely regarded as Adi Shankaracharya's magnum opus which is potent enough to liberate one's mind through its 580 verses. In the first part of this three-part series, Acharya Prashant shares his insights on a few selected verses from verse 401 to verse 580 of the scripture.
